Melissa M. Carvalho
Melissa Carvalho is a member of the firm’s Litigation Group and focuses her practice on securities litigation and general commercial litigation in both state and federal courts. Ms. Carvalho has represented clients in formal and informal investigations by the Securities and Exchange Commission, the United States Department of Justice and the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission. Ms. Carvalho also maintains an active alternative dispute resolution practice, representing clients in AAA and FINRA arbitrations and mediations.
Before joining Baker Hostetler, Ms. Carvalho was an associate at the law firm of Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP where she was a member of the firm’s Securities & Corporate Governance litigation practice group.
While at St. John’s University School of Law, Ms. Carvalho was a member of the St. John’s Law Review.
