Stacy Wilhite practices in the Tax Group, with an emphasis on employee benefits.
Ms. Wilhite has experience with qualified and non-qualified retirement plans, cafeteria plans and health and welfare plans. She assists clients with compliance issues including COBRA, HIPAA, ERISA claims procedures, retirement plan qualification and fiduciary duties.
Ms. Wilhite has also obtained determination letters from the Internal Revenue Service and assisted clients in utilizing the Internal Revenue Service’s Employee Plan Compliance Resolution System and the Department of Labor’s Delinquent Filer Voluntary Compliance Program.
Prior to joining Baker Hostetler, Ms. Wilhite practiced employee benefits law for a law firm in Kansas City, Missouri. Following law school, she practiced employee benefits law for five years at a law firm in Dayton, Ohio.
Ms. Wilhite is a member of the American Bar Association.
