Alex Watson Tremellen focuses her practice on tax and estate planning and the administration of trusts and estates for high-net-worth individuals. She organizes structures to distribute generational wealth with a focus on federal, gift, estate and generation-skipping transfer (GST) taxes. With a background in tax law, Alex also counsels high-net-worth individuals, business owners, charitable organizations and family offices in charitable planning, succession planning and wealth preservation.
Coming from a tenth-generation Orange County family, Alex enjoys counseling local Orange County clients as well as clients across the country.
While attending UC Irvine School of Law, Alex received a Faculty Award (Highest Performance in a Course) for California State Business Tax and was President of the UCI Tax Law Society. She has taken a variety of tax courses including estate tax, partnership tax, corporate tax, state and local tax and tax procedure. Alex is a current Tax LL.M. candidate at New York University School of Law.
