News / August 31, 2021

Partner David Carney has been named a 2021 Law360 MVP in the Cybersecurity & Privacy category. The MVP Awards recognize attorneys across the nation who have distinguished themselves from their peers by success in high-stakes litigation, complex global matters and record-breaking deals. Law360’s editors reviewed nearly 900 submissions to determine the winners, who comprise 182 attorneys from 77 firms spanning 37 practice areas.

Carney is a litigator who defends clients in privacy disputes ranging from individual litigation and pre-suit demands to multi-district class action lawsuits arising from some of the largest data security incidents in history. His practice includes a particular emphasis in counseling clients with respect to privacy disputes arising under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). In 2016, Carney was recognized by Law360 as a “Rising Star” in the Privacy category.

Carney will be profiled by Law360 in an upcoming article.
