Overview

Lauren Stuy handles complex employment matters from class action and wage and hour disputes to defense of clients in discrimination and retaliation cases both in court and arbitration. Drawing on her background as the head of studies of an English academy in Spain, Lauren recognizes the importance of understanding clients’ business objectives and provides pragmatic solutions to help them achieve their goals.

In addition, Lauren has assisted BakerHostetler’s insurance recovery team in analyzing complex and routine insurance coverage issues, including providing coverage analysis by reviewing hundreds of insurance policies. She is particularly familiar with third-party claims and understands the importance of framing and explaining the coverage risks that could lead to potential litigation.
