As BakerHostetler's Director of Inclusion and Diversity, Leah Fisher works closely with firm leadership to design and implement programs and strategies that support the recruitment, retention and advancement of diverse lawyers. She has extensive experience serving as a talent management leader and human resources partner, overseeing performance management, work allocation and professional development initiatives for support staff and attorneys.
Leah previously led talent management initiatives at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP, where she designed and implemented a firmwide work allocation program to support equal access to billable hours; provided coaching and talent management support to diverse lawyers through the firm’s affinity groups; partnered with practice group leaders and office managing partners on overall inclusion and diversity strategies to support retention and advancement; and created specialized lateral integration initiatives for diverse lawyers.
Drawing from her educational and professional background in law, Leah works in conjunction with BakerHostetler's Diversity Council, the Inclusion and Diversity Advisory Board and firm management to uphold the firm’s strategic commitment to inclusion and diversity, and to transform the firm's workforce to meet future client and community needs.
