Overview

Matt Oliver focuses his practice on executing mergers and acquisitions, private equity and other private capital investments, particularly in the middle market. He assists private equity and corporate clients that transform founder and family-owned private companies for a new phase of growth and helps companies, investors and founders seize exit opportunities.

Matt regularly advises founders, emerging companies, corporate venture and family office investors on capital raising activities for early stage and emerging companies as well as public companies. He also counsels clients in connection with general commercial arrangements, financing and other significant business changes and events.

Matt has extensive experience with high pace auction processes, representations and warranties insurance and leveraging the experience of other BakerHostetler subject-matter experts from tax and estate planning to data privacy and beyond to provide clients with the full support they need when complex issues arise.
