32nd Annual Legislative Seminar Series: Congresswoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers, R-Wash.

Events / Wednesday, June 23, 2021
1-1:30 p.m.

Please join former Congressman Mike Ferguson, leader of BakerHostetler’s Federal Policy team, and former Congressman Heath Shuler, Senior Advisor on the Federal Policy team, for the next virtual discussion in our annual bipartisan Legislative Seminar Series. This session will feature Congresswoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers, R-Wash.

Congresswoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers has led Republican efforts to bolster American energy, support breakthrough medical research, and improve broadband in rural and suburban communities. Representing eastern Washington state, Congresswoman McMorris Rodgers previously served in House GOP leadership for 10 years.

Our virtual discussion with Congresswoman McMorris Rodgers begins at 1 p.m. EDT on June 23.

In 2019, BakerHostetler hosted its 30th annual Legislative Seminar, widely considered Washington’s premier annual showcase on legislative policy. COVID-19 forced the cancellation of our in-person event in 2020.

We are back in 2021 – but with a twist. Rather than a one-day, in-person event in Washington, this year’s Legislative Seminar will be a series of virtual discussions with members of Congress scheduled over the coming weeks this spring and summer. You will hear firsthand from Democrats and Republicans, House members and senators, regarding developments in tax, infrastructure, healthcare, trade, energy policy and more.
