Partner John Carney and Associate Alexandra Karambelas contributed an article to <em>Law.com</em> titled “Big Carrots, Big Sticks: Wall Street’s Top Cop Fires a Warning Shot at Corporate America.” Published March 1, 2026, the article discusses a Feb. 5, 2026, speech by U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York Jay Clayton regarding companies cooperating with law enforcement during investigations of misconduct and securing non-prosecution agreements as a result. Shortly afterwards, the district court updated and adopted a Corporate Enforcement and Voluntary Self-Disclosure Program for financial crimes.
