Partner Camille Bent will present on a panel titled “Chasing the Money: Unpacking Subsequent-Transfer Claims Under § 550(a)(2)” at the American Bankruptcy Institute 2025 Central States Bankruptcy Workshop, June 18-20, 2025, in Chicago, Illinois. The panel will discuss the legal and practical issues surrounding the claims and key issues such as the scope of liability for immediate and mediate transferees, the standards courts use to determine who qualifies as a subsequent transferee and the statutory defenses available to those parties.
