Wu joins from an Am Law 25 firm and has more than two decades of experience as a nationally recognized trial lawyer with an extensive background in complex commercial disputes, particularly in SEC investigations and enforcement proceedings, mergers and acquisitions, securities class actions, and shareholder derivative litigation.

His arrival will further strengthen BakerHostetler’s <a href="https://www.bakerlaw.com/services/securities-and-governance-litigation/">Securities and Governance Litigation team</a>, which recently was recognized as the <a href="https://www.bakerlaw.com/insights/bakerhostetler-team-scores-am-law-litigation-daily-litigator-of-the-week-honors-for-co-diagnostics-victory/">Am Law Litigation Daily Litigator of the Week</a> for their complete dismissal on summary judgment of a securities class action against client Co-Diagnostics.

With a career spanning more than 25 years, Wu has built a reputation for delivering results in some of the most challenging legal arenas, including securities class actions, shareholder derivative suits, mergers and acquisitions litigation, and regulatory enforcement matters. He is nationally recognized as a top securities attorney by Chambers, Legal 500, Law360 and New York Super Lawyers. Wu has represented public and private companies across a wide variety of industries, as well as banks and financial firms in high-value matters.

Wu has an extensive background in complex commercial disputes, particularly in SEC investigations and enforcement proceedings, mergers and acquisitions, securities class actions, and shareholder derivative litigation. He has served as lead counsel in numerous cases involving&nbsp;hundreds of millions of dollars in alleged damages, including defending a global financial institution in a securities class action with over&nbsp;$2 billion at stake, and representing a board committee in a high-profile internal investigation tied to a&nbsp;$1.5 billion merger.

In addition to his litigation successes, Wu has guided clients through sensitive investigations and enforcement actions brought by the SEC and other regulatory bodies. His strategic counsel has helped resolve matters discreetly and favorably, often avoiding public scrutiny. His ability to manage complex, multijurisdictional litigation has made him a go-to adviser for clients facing existential legal threats.

Wu received his J.D. from Columbia University and a B.A. from Princeton University.
