Partner Melissa Leonard received an honorable mention in Mergers & Acquisitions’ 2021 “Top 25 Most Influential Women in Mid-Market M&A.” The sixth annual list pays tribute to consummate dealmakers who, despite the challenging era, are champions of change and powerful advocates for diversity, equity and inclusion. The publication noted that women who are recognized for the list guided their teams through the pandemic with courage and creativity while “closing deals with aplomb; managing remote workers adroitly; and creating and nurturing key business relationships.”  Leonard is co-leader of the Merger and Acquisitions team. She has led a number of the firm’s most high-profile transactions, including for electric-vehicle manufacturer Lordstown Motors Corp. (LMC) and for Big River Steel, a steel mini-mill with the world&#39;s first LEED-certified steel production facility.
