An emphasis on maintaining a positive workplace environment and nurturing career growth earned BakerHostetler a top ten ranking for the fifth consecutive year in <em>The American Lawyer</em> <a href="https://www.law.com/americanlawyer/2025/09/04/the-2025-midlevel-associates-survey-the-rankings/?kw=The+2025+Midlevel+Associates+Survey:+The+Rankings&amp;utm_position=1&amp;utm_source=email&amp;utm_medium=enl&amp;utm_campaign=morningupdate&amp;utm_content=20250904&amp;utm_term=tal&amp;oly_enc_id=5912A5523589G6Z">2025 Midlevel Associates Survey.</a> The firm scored 10th in the nation; three BakerHostetler offices, including Atlanta, Cleveland and Columbus, earned the No. 1 ranking in their respective cities. The firm also achieved the rank of eighth in the nation – up two spots from 2024 - for the Midlevel Associates Tech Survey, which is part of the overall 2025 survey, indicating a focus on giving attorneys the tools they need provide excellent customer service to their clients.

Using 12 aspects of job satisfaction, the Midlevel Associates Survey asks third-, fourth- and fifth-year associates at Am Law 200 firms throughout the country to rate their employers in areas such as compensation and benefits; training and guidance; relationships with partners and other associates; interest in and satisfaction with their work; the firm’s policy on billable hours; technology and training; and management’s transparency about strategies and partnership advancement.

The survey’s results reflect BakerHostetler’s effective approach to attracting, supporting and retaining legal talent.
