On Wednesday, April 29, 2020, BakerHostetler partners <a href="https://www.bakerlaw.com/RobbCAdkins">Robb Adkins</a>, Jeffrey Martino and Ann O’Brien hosted a webinar on the topic of lessons learned from past crises. Former DOJ lawyers analyzed their decades of experience in enforcement related to major economic events such as the 2008 financial crisis and the string of corporate failures in late 2001. Companies can benefit from an explanation of the typical areas of governmental focus in such crises, and proactively enhance their compliance programs and ultimately mitigate potential government enforcement actions in the current COVID-19 environment.
