Partner Ann O’Brien has been named to Global Competition Review’s (GCR) “Women in Antitrust 2021” list, which recognizes 138 women around the world for their accomplishments in the antitrust field.

O’Brien is the leader of BakerHostetler’s Cartel and Government Antitrust Investigations Task Force, which advises clients facing criminal or civil government antitrust investigations or litigation.

In an article accompanying this year’s list, O’Brien talks about how at the start of her career in the Antitrust Division of the Justice Department, she was frequently the only woman in attendance at many meetings. She later became acting director of criminal enforcement at the division, the highest criminal career post held by a woman to date.  “I am now proud to be ‘at the table’ with so many other amazing women antitrust practitioners,” she said.
