Dan Guttman Elected As a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation

Partner Dan Guttman has been elected as a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation. The Fellows are peer nominated and comprise an honorary society of lawyers, judges, and law faculty who have demonstrated outstanding leadership in the profession and service to society. Membership is limited to 1 percent of the lawyers admitted to practice in the United States.

Guttman has been practicing for 23 years and has extensive experience in complex civil litigation, noncompete and trade secret disputes, class and collective actions, and administrative investigations and hearings. He is highly regarded in the Columbus community and across Ohio, most notably for his roles as the State of Ohio’s Chief Labor Spokesperson for the Administration of Hon. Governor John Kasich, as well as serving as General Counsel for the first school district in the country where the sitting elected board of education was replaced by a Chief Executive Officer to address years of academic shortcomings – the “Youngstown Plan” that has garnered national attention. Guttman has been appointed to numerous boards and commissions in the fields of education, sports and entertainment, and for legislative and political entities.
