For the second year in a row, Partner George Stamboulidis has been recognized with a Herald Top Lawyers of Long Island award for criminal law. Members of the Long Island community nominate legal professionals for the award based on their exceptional professional expertise, dedication and devotion to giving back.

Stamboulidis is managing partner of BakerHostetler’s New York office and co-leader of the firm’s White Collar, Investigations and Securities Enforcement and Litigation team, a Chambers USA-ranked practice. A seasoned defense attorney and accomplished former prosecutor, he is also Chambers ranked.

Stamboulidis has tried dozens of complex federal trials and is recognized for his excellence in white collar and business defense. He counsels and represents Fortune 100 companies on Foreign Corrupt Practices Act issues and routinely conducts reviews to make best practice policy enhancements to corporate compliance policies and optimize corporate training programs. He conducts testing to ensure policy enhancements are followed and advises clients on enhanced due diligence. He is trusted for his integrity and sound judgment.
