Partner Jeffrey Martino is quoted in an article published by MLex on Dec. 31, 2020. The article, “Comment: Staffing Companies Ripe for Wage-Fixing Scrutiny as US DOJ Begins Criminal Enforcement,” reports on the potential that the Department of Justice will seek to prosecute staffing companies on wage-fixing charges.  Martino, who formerly served as chief of the New York office of DOJ’s antitrust division, told MLex the alleged wage fixing or suppression is an “obvious” choice for the agency to watch for as it seeks to bring more criminal cases in the labor markets. “I think that’s where the investigations will arise,” he said.  <a href="https://www.mlex.com/User/Login.aspx">Read the article (registration required)</a>.
