A paper authored by Associate Kristin Kluding was selected as a finalist for the prestigious Brown Award for Excellence in Legal Writing. The Brown Award is a national competition that honors excellent in legal writing in American law schools. Kluding’s paper, “Oil-Rich and Out of Options: Venezuela’s International Arbitration Saga of Expropriation, Enforcement and Settlement,” previously was named the winner of the 2018-19 Association of International Petroleum Negotiators Student Writing Competition. Kluding works on transactional, securities, corporate governance, oil and gas and environmental matters from BakerHostetler’s Houston office.
