Alexis Beachdell is a seasoned bankruptcy and commercial law attorney with experience representing trustees and liquidating trusts, secured lenders and financial institutions, buyers and sellers of distressed assets, creditors of distressed or insolvent businesses, and nonprofit entities. Alexis takes a creative and solution-oriented approach to resolving disputes and achieving clients’ strategic goals.

  • Represents a bankruptcy trustee in the unwinding of a complex $200 million financial fraud scheme involving more than 5,000 victims. Representation includes more than 100 cases involving fraudulent transfer and state law claims, litigation against the debtor's secured lenders demanding the return of hundreds of millions of dollars, and administration of more than 5,000 claims.
  • Represents a national retailer in the bankruptcy cases of two large grocery chains, including negotiating payment of pre- and post-petition consignment proceeds of more than $2 million in product held in stores.

  • Represented a buyout fund in its acquisition of secured debt and the subsequent acquisition of distressed aerospace assets through an out-of-court Article 9 sale process.
