Overview

Amy Kellogg is a problem-solver, offering clients creative solutions and assistance in helping them reach their goals when it comes to real estate ownership, leasing, expansion, development or disposition. Known as an attorney who can get the deal done, she takes the mystery out of the real estate process and efficiently brings a transaction to each clients’ desired conclusion.

Amy partners closely with clients, both public and private, helping them through a variety of different real estate issues, effectively coping with challenges posed throughout the process. She also handles clients' retail, office, industrial and/or commercial leases, as well as any acquisitions of new businesses and integration of new properties into their existing real estate portfolios.

Amy is the Cleveland Real Estate team leader.

  • Represents Lordstown EV Corporation in managing and operating its 600+ acre facility in Lordstown, Ohio, including advice on obtaining a lot split and closing of sale of 173 acres to Ultium Cells; the repurposing of a former PPG, Inc., plant on the site; and construction of new utility substation on the site.
  • Represents Big River Steel, LLC, in all real estate matters connected with the development of a $1.7 billion state-of-the-art steel mill constructed on approximately 2,000 acres along the Mississippi River near Osceola, Arkansas. The representation involves site acquisition, project financing and tax incentives, and advice regarding leasing and development of outparcels.
  • Representing a family-owned company in developing several sites in northern Ohio for commercial, light industrial and warehouse facilities, which representation includes advice regarding development, construction and leasing.
  • Represent Greif Inc., an Ohio-based industrial packaging company, in the sale of facilities throughout the U.S.
  • Member of BakerHostetler team that secured $900 million financing package for industrial packaging manufacturer’s acquisition of the packaging operations of a European company. Handled the mortgages on 37 U.S. properties and 16 foreign properties, including manufacturing plants and warehouses ranging in size from five to 1,100 acres with the average property being 15 to 25 acres. Post-closing obligations included the filing of domestic leasehold mortgages and foreign mortgages.
  • Assisted The Cleveland Play House in its move to the downtown theater district in Cleveland, Ohio. Assisted The Cleveland Play House with the sale of its existing theater and negotiated the use agreement and signage agreement for the Allen Theater among The Cleveland Play House, PlayhouseSquare Foundation and Cleveland State University. Helped obtain already appropriated funds from the State of Ohio for use at The Cleveland Play House’s new downtown location.
  • Provided a variety of leasing services to a national big box retailer.
