Overview

Ariana Dindiyal is a commercial litigation associate who takes a resourceful and innovative approach to advising clients. Her expanding practice concentrates on matters related to commercial litigation in state and federal courts, as well as advising on issues related to data privacy, records and information governance and technology application.

Ariana has notable experience conducting legal research and drafting pleadings, briefs, memoranda, affidavits and discovery documents. Combining her organizational skills with a well-rounded familiarity of judicial processes, including experience as a federal law clerk, Ariana effectively manages caseloads for clients' distinct matters.

Select Experience

  • Member of the BakerHostetler team serving as court-appointed counsel to the Securities Investor Protection Act (SIPA) Trustee for the liquidation of Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities LLC (BLMIS), an unprecedented recovery effort including hundreds of actions.
    • Represents the Trustee in various ongoing subsequent transferee actions, which involve active discovery disputes and motion practice.
  • Represents corporate clients in a variety of complex commercial litigation matters in state and federal courts.
  • Counsels clients on information governance practices and strategy and related compliance issues, including developing and implementing record retention policies, litigation holds and related policies and materials.
