Overview

In his litigation practice, Brian Allen assists clients with conducting internal investigations and responding to subpoenas, and guides them through investigations or prosecutions by authorities. He brings substantial courtroom experience to his current practice, having developed and honed his litigation skills while serving as an assistant district attorney in the Queens County District Attorney's Office. As an ADA, Brian supervised or conducted long-term investigations and tried a broad array of serious felony cases.

  • Works on a variety of litigation matters in connection with BakerHostetler’s role as counsel to the court-appointed Trustee under the Securities Investor Protection Act in the liquidation of Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities, LLC.
  • As part of the team serving the receiver of the Michael Kenwood Group LLC, has participated in the investigation and recovery of assets misappropriated through purported hedge funds operated by the principals of the Michael Kenwood Group for ultimate distribution to the defrauded investors.
