  • Negotiated favorable settlements for a major reseller of cellular phones in various patent infringement actions filed throughout the United States involving patents relating to MMS cellular messaging technology, taking and storing photographs using mobile devices, QPSK modulation in CDMA communication networks, monitoring data traffic transmission rates over cellular communication channels, cellular antenna technology and channel hopping in wireless communication networks.
  • Represented a software distributor in asserting patents related to software-activation technology.
  • Defended an international electronics manufacturer and distributor in a multidistrict patent litigation.
  • Represented plaintiff and patent holder in patent infringement case involving use of oxygen absorbers in modified atmosphere meat-packaging technology.
  • Represented a major publishing firm in a putative class action brought by an author alleging breach of contract, and breach of both good faith and fair dealing of the foreign royalties provision of a publishing agreement. The case was won in district court and succeeded on appeal.
  • Drafted and negotiated IP licenses for startups through Fortune 500 companies.
