Danielle Merola concentrates her practice on commercial bankruptcy, financial restructuring and commercial litigation. She brings an in-depth understanding of judicial processes to her bankruptcy practice from previously serving as a law clerk at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida.
Danielle represents debtors, creditors, trustees, committees and asset purchasers in bankruptcy cases throughout the country. During her clerkship, she was the head writer on the Procedure Manual Committee and drafted and edited district-wide procedures consistent with the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure, the Bankruptcy Code and local practices. This experience provides Danielle with a unique perspective on court-specific rules and practices nationwide.

- Team member representing Entrust Energy, Inc., and its affiliates in a Chapter 11 in the Southern District of Texas.
Creditor and Committee Representation
- Team member in representation of the Tort Claimants Committee in the Pacific Gas & Electric Company bankruptcies in California, one of the largest bankruptcy cases in U.S. history.
Litigation and Other Restructuring Experience
- Team member representing Chapter 11 Trustee of Americore Holdings, LLC in eleven related healthcare Chapter 11 cases involving hospitals, critical access hospitals, nursing schools and residency programs in the Eastern District of Kentucky.
