David has extensive experience representing businesses in various sectors, including finance, media, sports, manufacturing, real estate and technology. He represents corporate clients and individuals in the most sensitive areas, investigations and enforcement actions by governmental agencies, including the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the Department of Justice and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, as well as states’ Attorneys General offices. His words have appeared in publications such as the <em>Wall Street Journal</em>, and he has spoken on a range of topics, including securities class actions, consumer class actions, complex litigation and internal investigation strategies.

Over his many years of experience, David has conducted more than 25 jury trials and at least 50 court trials and arbitrations. He has argued hundreds of motions before various types of tribunals. Not only is David a fierce advocate for clients, he has also been noted by Chambers USA as a business lawyer with a practical and pragmatic approach to solving problems. David has been brought into difficult and polarizing situations, only to succeed in reaching creative solutions where others have not.

Many of these confidential investigations typically involve serious and sensitive issues. David coordinates his efforts with special committees, boards of directors and senior management.</li>
<li>Represented clients, both corporate and individuals, in testimony before the Department of Justice, the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority and the Federal Trade Commission.</li>
<li>Represented clients in nationwide class actions and individual cases resulting in successful jury trial defense verdicts and resolutions defeating claims for hundreds of millions of dollars in damages from allegations of traumatic brain injury, and concussions relating to athletic activities.</li>
<li>Lead counsel in disputes and claims of real estate developers relating to real estate assets located in southern California. David successfully obtained judgments of over $500 million dollars for his client.</li>
<li>Represented broker-dealers, clearing companies and related parties in investigations and enforcement proceedings brought by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority in claims alleging market manipulation, insider trading, records and regulatory compliance issues, successfully resulting in no action letters and other favorable resolutions.</li>
