Overview

Kyle Morse concentrates his practice on the preparation and prosecution of patent applications, focusing on software technologies related to human machine interaction, operating systems, extended reality, speech processing, virtualization, computer animation, payment processing and security. He also supports patent litigations and advises clients on patent portfolio management and assessment, open source contributions, risk of standards participation, freedom to operate and other opinion work.

Kyle has extensive experience in the strategic planning, development and management of global patent portfolios tailored to individual business needs. He leads teams to build U.S. patent portfolios that deter competitors and attract venture funding. He also collaborates with foreign counsel to secure patents across the world, including in Australia, China, Germany, India, Japan, Korea and the U.K. From his years seconded at a Fortune 5 company, Kyle provides an in-house perspective that supports a holistic approach to the practice of patent law.
