Lauren Attard focuses her practice on bankruptcy, restructuring and creditors’ rights. She has a depth of bankruptcy and capital markets experience from her position as Assistant General Counsel at the Securities Investor Protection Corporation (SIPC) and working for Congressman Brad Sherman, a senior member of the House Financial Services Committee, on financial services, tax and legal issues.

- Member of several motion and trial teams in the representation of Irving H. Picard, the Securities Investor Protection Act Trustee for the liquidation of Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities LLC, drafting briefs and memoranda regarding securities law and the Securities Investor Protection Act.
Bankruptcy
- Broad role in BakerHostetler’s representation of the Official Committee of Tort Claimants for Pacific Gas & Electric Company, one of the largest mass tort bankruptcies of all time. Has had a lead drafting role in major filings.
Litigation
- Represent plaintiffs in litigation against PacifiCorp related to the 2020 Labor Day Fires in Oregon.
