Overview

Louis Levenson draws on a deep well of scientific education and achievement in his work preparing and prosecuting both U.S. and foreign patent applications related to science and technology. He provides support to clients ranging from startups to Fortune 100 companies for intellectual property (IP) due diligence, patentability and freedom to operate analyses and offers technical analysis for IP litigation and inter partes review. He has worked on patent filing, prosecution strategy and due diligence review related to mechanical, electrical and software aspects of mobile and wearable devices, electronic commerce, machine learning, medical devices, navigation and space systems and semiconductors, among others.

Louis was a postdoctoral scholar in the Observational Cosmology Consulting Group at the California Institute of Technology after earning a Ph.D. in physics. He also co-authored more than 50 refereed publications.
