With extensive experience in patent portfolio management for a wide variety of clients across various industries, Mark supports early-stage companies with original patent portfolio establishment and through fundraising events and transactions that require due diligence and analysis of intellectual property assets. He also assists larger clients with robust international patent portfolios relating to commercialized products.

Mark has worked with medical device clients that develop neurovascular, cardiovascular, peripheral vascular, gastroesophogeal, opthalmic&nbsp;and radiation-based treatments, as well as consumer electronics clients that develop wearable devices, communication devices, input devices&nbsp;and other personal electronic devices.

Mark also provides clients with portfolio analysis, including validity and non-infringement opinion work. In addition, he handles<em> inter partes</em> review (IPR) proceedings at the Patent Trial and Appeal Board.

<li>Conducted diligence on behalf of opthalmic implant developer in Series C financing, Series D financing and acquisition.</li>
<li>Conducted diligence for investment rounds of several early stage medical deivce companies.</li>
<li>Trial counsel for defendant in patent and trademark litigation against patent holder, resulting in favorable settlement with no admission of infringement.</li>
