Overview

Miranda Wang brings an international practitioner’s perspective to client counseling and has more than 20 years of experience handling intellectual property (IP) issues. She helps U.S. companies and organizations efficiently deal with IP issues in China, and assists Chinese companies and other clients in the acquisition, licensing and enforcement of their IP rights in the U.S.

Miranda leverages her strong connection with the State Intellectual Property Office of China (SIPO) (currently referred to as “National Intellectual Property Administration, PRC”), where she served for 12 years. While there, she examined patent applications, supervised Chinese patent agencies, led the reform of the national patent bar examination, participated in the third revision of Patent Law of China and the formulation of National Intellectual Property Strategy, and directed Chinese industrial associations in formulating IP strategies.
