Sophilia Wu works closely with clients on private equity and commercial transactions, corporate governance, and other corporate matters, particularly as it relates to the protection of their intellectual property and digital assets. She is knowledgeable of changing privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and other privacy considerations. Notably, she has guided hundreds of businesses through trademark and copyright prosecution, business formation, and contracting and licensing issues, helping clients expand their businesses internationally through the management of their global trademark strategy and through the negotiation of transnational agreements. Acting as an extension of clients' in-house legal departments and operational teams, Sophilia provides clients with a comprehensive explanation of the numerous privacy risks and compliance measures that need to be taken into account before heading to the negotiating table.
