Partner Ann Caresani will take part in two panels during the ESOP 2026 Great Lakes Regional Conference, Sept. 29-Oct. 1, 2026, in Indianapolis, Indiana. “ESOP Legal Update” will consist of the recent legal and regulatory developments for ESOPs, as well as an overview of the current status of the U.S. Department of Labor. The session will provide an overview for ESOP companies, executives and all ESOP professionals on the latest legal trends and identify emerging risks.
The second panel is titled “Cybersecurity” and will cover the U.S. Department of Labor Employee Benefits Security Administration's expectations about what companies sponsoring ESOPs and
other employee benefits and fiduciaries are doing in the context of cybersecurity. The presentation will help attendees identify emerging risks and have some insight regarding proactive steps that may help mitigate those risks.
