The DOJ Announces Administration’s Revised Corporate Enforcement Strategy

Partner Artie McConnell commented on a new data security program designed to prevent the large-scale transfer of sensitive data to China, Russia and other foreign adversaries from the Department of Justice’s Security Division in a <em>Law360</em> article titled “Feds Put Heat on Foreign Data Transfers with Sweeping Rules.” Published May 9, 2025, the article stated that the National Security Division would not be prioritizing civil enforcement actions if companies can demonstrate “good faith” efforts to comply or come into compliance.
