A seasoned litigator, Leon represents employers in federal and state court litigations, arbitrations and administrative proceedings, and he regularly counsels clients on all facets of employment matters.

Leon joins BakerHostetler from an AmLaw 50 firm and is a strategic addition to the Labor and Employment Practice Group, which was recently recognized by BTI in the “Distinguished” category for complex employment litigation, placing the firm in the top 4% of firms nationwide.

With more than a decade of experience, both in public and private practice, Leon will help clients across various industries, which further strengthens the firm’s multidisciplinary Noncompete and Trade Secrets team and bolsters its service offerings coast to coast.&nbsp;

Leon is a highly sought-after litigator with a focus on litigating and counseling clients regarding restrictive covenant and trade secret matters and policies. He routinely litigates these matters from inception to conclusion and prepares restrictive covenant policies for both public and privately held companies of all sizes.

With extensive trial and deposition experience, Leon also regularly litigates and counsels employers regarding claims of discrimination, harassment, whistleblowing and retaliation, and he has secured multiple jury verdicts and decisions in employment discrimination matters. Leon routinely works with clients in a broad range of industries, including financial services, media, technology startups, luxury retail, health care and medical technology, and professional sports leagues and teams, as well as in the public sector.

Prior to his private practice, Leon was assistant corporation counsel in the Labor and Employment division of the New York City Law Department.

Leon earned his B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School.
