BakerHostetler held its flagship 2026 Digital Assets Forum, a full-day, multi-panel program bringing together leaders across advertising, privacy, cybersecurity, emerging tech, incident response, litigation and regulatory enforcement. Panel members and attendees participated in both the Chicago, Illinois, and Washington, D.C. offices, with the two offices connected virtually. In addition to BakerHostetler attorneys, Chris Mufarrige, Director, Bureau of Consumer Protection for the Federal Trade Commission, Phyllis Marcus, Vice President, National Advertising Division BBB National Programs and Anna Rogers, Senior Privacy Analyst, nCino, shared their insights.

Titled “Protecting Your Digital Assets: Charting a Path to Success in 2026,” the April 1, 2026, program was a premier gathering for in‑house counsel and compliance leaders navigating today’s fast‑moving privacy, cybersecurity, advertising and regulatory landscape. From cutting‑edge insights to real‑world strategies, the Digital Risk, Privacy, Class Action and Advertising teams brought together leading practitioners for a program designed to keep attendees ahead of emerging challenges and in sync with the latest enforcement trends.

The program addressed current issues, from the accelerating impact of artificial intelligence on compliance, to the evolving expectations of federal and state regulators, to the seismic shifts in data breach litigation, privacy enforcement, advertising practices and retail media innovation. It also explored AdTech and behavioral advertising, FTC and NAD developments, cybersecurity readiness, state AG priorities, incident response and the new realities of retail media networks.
