Headquartered in Torrance, California, Stellant is a global designer and manufacturer of high-power electronic components and subsystems for the aerospace and defense end market. It has manufacturing locations in Torrance, California; Williamsport, Pennsylvania; Melville, New York and Topsfield, Massachusetts and has approximately 950 employees. As a leading designer, producer and supplier of highly engineered aircraft components, the acquisition will enhance TransDigm’s portfolio of proprietary products and expand its presence in high-growth aerospace and defense markets.

The acquisition is approximately $960 million and subject to regulatory approvals in the U.S. and customary closing conditions.
