Partners John Allotta, Charlotte Pasiadis and Katie Legband O’Brien are leading a team that includes Partners Craig Carpenter, Todd Dawson, Michelle Hervey, Michael Parente, Sabrina Shadi and Nichole Sterling, Counsel Fanny Ferdman, Meagan Moore and John Mueller, and Associates Robert McEvoy, Jarrett Mendoza, Brittany Rinard and Dillon Tan in the representation of TransDigm Group Incorporated in its definitive agreement to acquire Stellant Systems, Inc.
Headquartered in Torrance, California, Stellant is a global designer and manufacturer of high-power electronic components and subsystems for the aerospace and defense end market. It has manufacturing locations in Torrance, California; Williamsport, Pennsylvania; Melville, New York and Topsfield, Massachusetts and has approximately 950 employees. As a leading designer, producer and supplier of highly engineered aircraft components, the acquisition will enhance TransDigm’s portfolio of proprietary products and expand its presence in high-growth aerospace and defense markets.
The acquisition is approximately $960 million and subject to regulatory approvals in the U.S. and customary closing conditions.
