A celebration of the gains made by women leaders driving successful sustainability efforts nationwide drew colleagues, clients and community partners to BakerHostetler’s Columbus office on March 25, 2026, excited to join the Women’s Talent Engagement Forum (TEF) in recognizing Women’s History Month. The overall theme of the month, “Leading the Change: Women Shaping a Sustainable Future,” prompted a panel discussion filled with inspiring insights on how women are expanding the concept of sustainability beyond environmental impact, advancing economic opportunity, promoting equity and building resilient institutions that endure across generations.
The discussion was moderated by Associate Naomi Price, with perspectives delivered by influential women representing transportation, philanthropy, workforce development and civic leadership:
- Lourdes Barroso de Padilla, Columbus City Councilmember
- Kelley Griesmer, President and CEO, The Women’s Fund of Central Ohio
- Aslyne Rodriguez, Senior Director of Regional Strategic Partnerships, Central Ohio Transit Authority
Positive feedback from attendees praised the commentary as engaging and thoughtful, and echoed the panelists’ promotion of creative collaboration among women.
