The article, “Effective Securities Class Action Defense Post-Cyan,” discusses the recent U.S. Supreme Court decision in <em>Cyan Inc. v. Beaver County Employees Retirement Fund</em> that allows securities plaintiffs to bring class actions under the Securities Act of 1933 in state courts concurrently with a securities class action in federal court.

Greene and Gabriel offer advice for effective management of such multijurisdictional litigation, noting that it will be vital for defendants to make smart moves in the first days of litigation.
