Counsel Ferve Khan will take part in a panel discussion titled “Trustee’s Rights in the Debtor’s Shoes: In Pari Delicto, Barton and More” at the American Bankruptcy Institute’s Winter Leadership Conference, which takes place Dec. 4-6, 2025, in Tucson, Arizona. The panel will discuss:

- the application and limits of the in pari delicto doctrine
- the reach, exceptions and continued protections of the Barton doctrine
- implications of the Fifth Circuit’s Highland Capital Management decision
