Counsel Julian Perlman co-authored an article that appeared on Oct. 13, 2020, in  "Antitrust Connect,” which is published by the Exemptions & Immunities Committee of the Antitrust Section of the ABA. The article summarizes La. Real Estate Appraiser Bd. v. Fed. Trade Comm’n, in which a three-judge panel of Fifth Circuit unanimously held that the Federal Trade Commission’s (FTC) denial of the appraiser board’s claim of state action immunity was not appealable until the FTC issues a final ruling on the merits, including a final cease and desist order, and that the district court lacked jurisdiction.  <a href="https://connect.americanbar.org/antitrust/communities/community-home/digestviewer?tab=digestviewer&CommunityKey=09c0ac3b-a0e3-4c22-932f-c9d47ee8c83a">Read the article (registration required)</a>.
