<p>Partner <a href="http://bakerlaw.com/LPoeLeggette">L. Poe Leggette</a> co-authored "Trade Secrets and the Regulation of Hydraulic Fracturing: Toward a Global Perspective," published in the <em>International Energy Law Review</em> (Issues 4 & 5 2013). The article addresses the dilemma that governments face when citizens oppose energy development, but continue to consume immensely. Hydraulic fracturing has become a recent development in this issue, as it raises health concerns, as well as continues energy development. Some governments have tried to get benefits from both sides of the issue, which is outlined in the article in an examination of several states and the approaches being taken.</p>
