Net income will post double-digit growth. The firm continued to invest strategically in practice areas and geographic markets that best serve clients, adding 30 lateral partners and promoting 26 attorneys to partner in 2025.
After a strong first quarter, the momentum remained steady throughout 2025. September was one of the strongest months in firm history, followed by an even stronger December to close out the year. Schmidt noted strong demand across litigation and transactional practices and regions highlighting the success of the firm’s Dallas and San Francisco offices, which made significant contributions to the firm’s results in their fifth years of operation. He also pointed to the opening of the Austin office in 2025 and signified ongoing investment in innovation and AI, underscoring that lawyers who leverage these tools effectively will continue to thrive.
Looking ahead, Schmidt expressed optimism for 2026, referencing the firm’s financial stability, strong pipeline of disputes and transactional matters, and longstanding client partnerships focused on navigating complex matters.
