Partner Sushant Mohan co-authored an article for The Houston Lawyer titled “Signing Principle into Practice – Five Lessons from the Declaration at 250” with Jennifer Elrod, Chief Judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Published in the July/August 2026 issue, the article calls out five enduring lessons the Declaration of Independence, despite turning 250 years old this year, continues to teach lawyers about the practice of law, the demands of professionalism and the role of legal reasoning and laws in shaping a just society:
