The House will be in <a href="https://www.majorityleader.gov/schedule/weekly-schedule.htm">session</a> throughout the week, <a href="https://www.politico.com/live-updates/2025/12/15/congress/house-republicans-obamacare-deadline-health-care-vote-00690377">taking up</a> House Republicans’ health policy <a href="https://docs.house.gov/billsthisweek/20251215/FILE_3948.pdf">legislation</a>.

Tomorrow, the Energy and Commerce Communications and Technology Subcommittee will hold a legislative <a href="https://energycommerce.house.gov/events/c-and-t-subcommittee-legislative-improvements-to-public-safety-communications-in-the-united-states">hearing</a> on public safety communications.

The Homeland Security Committee on Wednesday will hold a <a href="https://docs.house.gov/Committee/Calendar/ByEvent.aspx?EventID=118723">hearing</a> titled “The Quantum, AI, and Cloud Landscape: Examining Opportunities, Vulnerabilities, and the Future of Cybersecurity.”

The Senate <a href="https://rollcall.com/2025/12/12/senate-eyes-ndaa-passage-next-week-amid-aviation-safety-worries/">aims</a> to send the fiscal year 2026 National Defense Authorization Act to President Donald Trump’s desk.

The Commerce Committee on Wednesday will hold an oversight <a href="https://www.commerce.senate.gov/2025/12/chairman-cruz-announces-fcc-hearing">hearing</a> with the Federal Communications Commission.

Also Wednesday, the Commerce Subcommittee on Aviation, Space, and Innovation will hold a <a href="https://www.commerce.senate.gov/2025/12/faa-s-plan-for-atc-modernization-evaluating-progress-ensuring-accountability-and-results">hearing</a> on the Federal Aviation Administration’s air traffic control modernization plan with Administrator Bryan Bedford.

Today Trump will <a href="https://www.forth.news/whpool/CW7iWC2XxLmGmsPciDT6C">present</a> a Mexican Border Defense Medal and attend Christmas festivities.

The White House has not released information on Trump’s public schedule for the rest of the week.
