Wilhite is a skilled tax attorney who focuses on all facets of employee benefits. She advises clients on qualified and non-qualified retirement plans, cafeteria benefits plans, and health and welfare plans. She also counsels clients on compliance with COBRA, HIPAA and ERISA rules as well as retirement plan qualification and fiduciary duties.
In private practice, Wilhite has also assisted clients in matters before the Internal Revenue Service and Department of Labor and has utilized the IRS’ Employee Plan Compliance Resolution System and the DOL’s Delinquent Filer Voluntary Compliance Program.
Wilhite received her B.S., cum laude, from Miami University and her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Dayton School of Law.
