Alexandra McCloy focuses her practice on labor and employment matters, representing employers in litigation and advising on a broad range of workplace issues. Her experience on both the judicial and public-sector sides of litigation provide her with a valuable perspective on case strategy, legal analysis and the practical considerations that shape employment disputes.
Before joining the firm, Alexandra served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Joel H. Slomsky of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, where she worked on complex civil matters and gained firsthand insight into the judicial decision-making process. She also gained direct employment litigation experience with the New York City Law Department’s Labor & Employment Division, conducting legal research and preparing substantive written advocacy in matters involving discrimination, retaliation and harassment claims. Together, these experiences inform her approach to employment litigation and counseling employers on complex workplace issues.
