As an associate on BakerHostetler’s ever-growing Community Development team, Apollo Liu represents and guides developers through all stages of affordable housing projects using the Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC). Additionally, he represents clients in a wide range of commercial real estate transactions, guiding acquisitions, dispositions and financing matters from initial negotiations through closing.
Apollo's practice includes drafting and negotiating commercial purchase and sale agreements, ground lease agreements and other transaction documents, as well as managing due diligence and closing processes for complex real estate matters. He regularly reviews and analyzes title commitments and ALTA surveys to identify and address potential risks affecting commercial properties. Apollo also advises clients on entity structuring and governance matters, preparing operating agreements, corporate consents, authority documents and membership interest assignments for acquisitions, recapitalizations and other commercial real estate transactions.
