Chardaie Charlemagne leads her commercial litigation practice with a solid work ethic and a clear understanding of clients’ goals. Chardaie’s practice focuses on commercial litigation, white collar and securities class action litigation and enforcement matters, as well as data privacy class actions.  She represents public and private companies and their officers and directors in complex individual, class action and derivative cases in federal and state courts. Chardaie’s practice is built on creative and thoughtful advocacy centered on compelling and creative problem solving through written and oral advocacy of complex commercial and criminal matters.  Chardaie’s attention to detail, investment in her clients and thorough legal acumen and advocacy skills empower her to produce creative solutions with her clients’ best interests at heart.

A committed counsel, Chardaie has served as a law clerk at both the federal circuit and district court levels. She enlists that background, along with considering various internal and external dynamics, to form an effective and efficient approach to handling disputes. For the past seven years, Chardaie has served as counsel in the global recovery effort following the collapse of Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities LLC, one of the largest financial frauds in U.S. history.
